The multimeter is a tool used to measure different electrical parameters, such as a difference in potential, a voltage, a resistance and or a capacitance. It has a knob in the center that allows to set the tool on the parameter to be measured, and of which the value is shown on the display. The two probes are connected to the ends of the electrical components, such as resistors and capacitors.
